How we are helping to #FlattenTheCurve and stop the spread of COVID – 19

The wellness and safety of our stakeholders remain our top priority and as Crown Paints Kenya PLC we have taken the following precautionary measures to #FlattenTheCurve of COVID-19.

  1. We encourage everyone to practice social distancing, and we have implemented the following measures;
  • 1 metre rule when around others
  • Adapted new no contact greeting styles
  • Placement of alcohol-based hand sanitizer in common areas and in offices
  • Having online meetings
  • All trainings and business travel have been suspended
  1. All staff COVID-19 Marshalls who;
  • Take temperature readings at entry points
  • Look out for COVID-19 signs; fever, cough, sneezing, headache and difficulty in breathing
  • Encourage those who are unwell to seek medical attention immediately
  1. Practice general hygiene at all times by;
  • Encouraging regular and thorough hand washing with soap and water
  • Regular and thorough cleaning of shared facilities
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards for safe handling of food & cutlery washed with soap and water
  1. Going cashless by;
  • Encouraging the use of mobile payments
  • Encouraging painter points redemption for instant rewards anywhere, anytime – Airtime, KPLC tokens and shopping vouchers
