• New Surface – Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering materials, dirt, grease or wax. To have a better finish, rub down surface using suitable abrasive and dust off. Apply 2 coat Crown Italia Primer prior to Crown Italia series Neutral coats (Top Coats).
• Previously painted surfaces – Remove all loose, defective and unstable paint film or powdery residue by brushing thoroughly and scraping. Repair minor defects and cracks with suitable filler. Apply 2 coat Crown Italia Primer prior to Crown Italia series Neutral coats (Top Coats). (For chalkiness on surface from old paint, apply 1 coat of CROWN PLUS 3 MASONARY PRIMER. Allow it to dry for 4 hours’ prior application of Crown Italia Primer).
Safety, Health and Environmental Information
– When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection and suitable gloves.
– In case of contact with eye, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical advice.
– Remove splashes of paint from skin by using soap or water.
– Keep container tightly closed and away from food, drinks, animal feed and out of the reach of children.
– Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
– Paint must always be stored in an upright position and a cool place.
– Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate Environmental Quality Regulations.
